What are some of the requirements for licensure?

You must have made application within 10 years of taking an approved examination or be Board Certified by the ABMS or the AOA or take the SPEX or COMVEX-USA exam. Louisiana does require the Federal Credentials Verification Service completed file.

As an IMG, what is the minimum number of PGT need to qualify for licensure?

You must have completed three years of post-graduate training in the US in a program approved by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or in Canada in a program accredited by the ACGME and approved by the board.
